Castione della Presolana is known as the historical heart of the tourist resort called Alta Valle Seriana and it's situated in the core of Orobie Alps. The near village, Bratto, Dorga, Lantana and Rusio, together with the ski resorts Presolana and Monte Pora can assure a complete tourist offer.

Since the 1930s Castione della Presolana has been visited not only by intellectuals, foreigners, and rich people, but also by people coming from the various towns and cities of Northern Italy. In a few years Castione became the “Pearl of the Orobie” and since the 1960s it has been one of the most renowned summer and winter health resorts of Lombardy. Visitors and tourists may lodge in hotels, inns, camping sites as well as in flats and romantic chalets but you may also sleep in your sleeping bag under the starry sky!

Castione della Presolana as much to offer to those who like practising sports, providing them with very modern sports facilities. First of all, tourists may practise mountain sports like climbing, mountaineering, trekking, horse riding, hang-gliding, archery among three-dimensional shapes, summer sledge and very much further.  The resort offers indoor sports facilities, too, where guests can put all their energy to the test; we are talking about the Municipal Sports center and the recreational area called " Parco della Montagna".
